Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects how a person communicates, socializes, and processes information from the world around them; often appears during early childhood and can influence emotional regulation, learning, behaviour, and everyday interactions across social, academic, and professional settings.
